★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son spent the best 2 years of his educational life here at Equippers. He's just started school but he still has fond memories of E-Kids & has asked me several times if he can go back to visit his friends. All the staff are lovely & make you feel so comfortable to leave your child/ren in their hands. I recommend EKELC to everyone! We miss you guys so much! Love from me & Judah :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you to all the teachers and staff for nurturing and taking great care of our precious granddaughter. She has been with Equippers Kids from 6months in 2018 when they first opened up and now it’s 2022 and she’s 4. As her nana and papa we’ve loved being part of her learning journey and thank all the staff for always including us in her parent portal updates of new milestones, growths and development through the beautifully written learning stories! We are sad that Willow and her parents have relocated to Wellington because it meant that we no longer could drop in and gaze at her through the window playing with her friends and flourishing in a safe environment. We could always see and feel how much she is loved by the teachers and her friends whenever we visited. Thank you teachers for creating a safe environment for our granddaughter to be herself! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Equippers Kids is like a home away from home for my babies. Amazing and friendly staff with so much heart and caring mindset. I have 3 kids who all attend and I love seeing them so happy and excited about daycare every morning. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re so very thankful to the team at Equippers Kids!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give them a 0. First incident was when my child was 1 years old; I went to pick up them up and they were outside shivering cold with watery eyes and red cheeks/nose. I was very unhappy with this and had a meeting with the staff about it to which the apology I received from the teacher she was being “taken care of” was “I’m sorry that she was cold”. Bare in mind most children were in the cold shade and the teacher was with her jersey on standing in a sunny corner of the outside area chatting with a teacher over the fence. I let go of it and removed my daughter from the centre. A year later and I decide to take my daughter back in hopes things will be different as she is older. Day 4 of her being back, I pick her up earlier than her finishing time just to find her crying, upset and limping. When I asked the teachers for answers regarding why she was so upset and limping they tried to make it out as if she was just unhappy and tried to say she was crying because she saw me - which I assure you was not the case. My wife tried to ask for an incident report as that’s what most daycares provide when such things occur or even try to put an ice pack - her request was denied. We are currently getting her foot/ankle checked as it seems swollen and she refuses to walk on it saying “ ouch boo-boo”. If you can’t explain to me what’s happened to my child while in your “care”, I don’t know how you are caring for other children. Might I add, when I first called Sara asked me if I was sure this centre was the one I wanted to take my children to - which I didn’t read much into at the time. It makes perfect sence now. Always best to pick up your children at different times, they won’t be expecting you. When you communicate something you’re unhappy with to one teacher, they all have to get involved. Basically all coming together to make you feel and think they are right and you are wrong. I know accidents happen with children; I have 5. A simple explanation would have been more than enough for me. Atleast I would’ve been able to take her to get checked out and have an idea of what the cause was. I regret bringing my children back here. Won’t be back.

He just turned two, and since attending Equippers Kids his communication skills and other skills have developed immensely! I love how the staff are so attentive and make your child feel individually special! I recommend this daycare to ANY parent seeking and safe, reliable place to leave their child!!

All the teachers are very friendly and awesome at their job. They engage my daughter in a wide range of fun activities every day, and write detailed reports on the parents' portal regarding her development. Highly recommend!
