β β β β β I wish I could give no stars. I purchased a bottle of sparkling wine here at roughly 1645 on the 29th of June 2019. I opened it after dinner to find the wine flat and with a funny looking cork, no sparkle at all... I returned to the shop immediately and explained the situation, only to be told that it was perfectly normal if the wine is too cold. It isnβt. I could reinsert the cork which should be impossible with your hand, it was also black and funny looking at the bottom of the cork. After arguing the point for a while the shopkeeper gave in and graciously allowed me to exchange for another item. Worst service I have experience in quite a while, possibly ever. This was my local but not any more.
