★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time customer. Managed to get my car booked in for a service the following day. Unfortunately needed some semi major repairs which I was unaware with. Great communication and very thorough - no pressure but I decided to go ahead and came in at a great price for what was done. Also their work comes with 12 month warranty which is very comforting when spending a large sum of money. I will be back and highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dealing with Superior Automotive has been a stressful and regretful experience. My car went in for a simple job, spotlight bulbs and bumpstop. Eleven days later it was ready to pick up. Someone dinged it while it was being worked on, which I understand (accidents happen).
But I dropped it in on a Friday, on Tuesday I was told I could pick it up but the damage hadn't been repaired.
I asked how long would it take if I left it there. I was told later in the week so I left it. I rang on the Friday and was told it would be ready on Monday. On Monday I was told it would be Tuesday.So on Monday my wife picked up their courtesy car and on the way home, got a phone call saying car is ready.
Now I could handle this but whoever I spoke to denies saying it would be ready later in the week.
Add to that the expensive invoice$594.55
$157.50 in labour to change 2 spotlight bulbs (5min job)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked this workshop to check and quote the fees to fix my car's misfire and AC problems. It quoted $650 for the misfire, and $2000-3000 for the AC. I told them I don't need to fix the AC then as my car only worth around $6000. The guy still charged me $200 for checking the AC problem although I didn't use their service on that. I paid $867 in total ($650 for misfire + $217 for checking the AC). I understood you don't work free for any work of my car, but same as someone mentioned in another review, I do appreciate if you would let me know you gonna charge me $217 for merely checking the AC beforehand, so that I could decide on whether I need your checking or not. The "checking cost" that you claimed can be expensive as few thousands. Do we have to accept anyway? As you only inform us the cost of checking afterwards.
Besides, they left some parts (4 plastic black lids) in the cup holder of my car when I went collect the car. They belongs to somewhere under the hood. What a service! Luckily I noticed them before I started driving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recent just moved into area and had some problems with my car. AA insurance towed it to the nearest mechanics but wasn't sure were to take it as their many cowboys out there that have the tools but not the honest dealings.
AA referred me to Superior Automotive service... At first, I wasn't sure about this company as no one has referred or spoke about this mechanic and I wasn't sure about the cost because the building look new.
OVERALL, I have no understanding of my vehicle maintenance. Stu helped me through the process of how to put through a claim to my insurance. Consistently kept in touch on the same day and brought understanding to what was wrong with my vehicle.
If you ever have the chance to look for a mechanic that is upfront with you and honest. Speak to Stu and the team. Don't risk taking your vehicle to a cowboy mechanic. But hey!!! it’s your choice.
