★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful beaches in NZ. It's almost always empty, so you feel like it's your own private beach!
It's a very long beach so you can really walk or run this one, if it's exercise that you're after.
Good surfing, and good kite surfing on certain wind directions.
All in all, I, no doubt, recommend the Pataua beaches.
We are so spoiled here in NZ to have the incredible natural beauty that is all around us. I don't know of another country where you can go to a beach and be one of a couple of people on the whole beach... If not the only people on it!
Talk about lucky!
