★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a light snack. Tried the bagel and OMG well done Monks. the bagel is great finally someone knows how a bagel should taste. Its far from what kiwis think is a bagel. Its light warm slightly toasted, not at all a heavy dough ball of bread. Great job. Will be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best piece of chocolate caramel slice I've had in a long time! It weighs about the same as a brick(!!) and tastes a damn sight better ? One for sharing. Lovely little corner location where you can see the comings and goings of inner city Christchurch. Delightful, friendly staff. Delicious food. What's not to like ?

Nicely displayed cabinet food. Staff took good care with packaging & were happy to accomodate my request re coffee temp.
I chose 2 very tasty options & am happy to go there again. My only small 'issue' was they did not have the current day's newspaper available to read while I waited ;)

The owner has done an amazing job of placing plants and training them to grow through out the walls and ceilings and it really adds to a great atmosphere of. Beautifully decorated with an ambience of style! This is going on the come back again list!
Good selection of food, both healthy and I need to be filled up food! Great selection of drinks and love the tea pots that you get when ordering tea! You can tell the owners really have attention to detail with both the food and the experience you have. Def 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A swan on the latte! Do you know how hard those are. When the latte art is on point you KNOW the coffee is going to be good and absolutely this was the case. Wonderful coffee! Couldn't resist the cheeky tiramisu baked cheesecake as well. Very tasty and went super well with the coffee.
