★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water was very pleasant indeed. Quite shallow, ranging from knee deep to waist deep for the majority of the area. Significant volcanic heat evident mere inches below the surface of the sandy bottom. This is a definite favourite spot now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 min walk from the main beach & limited parking at the southern end, it is not so crowded. There are pockets of warm ground water seeping up in the shallows and areas of normal cool lake water too. It is a pleasant area for swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t get me wrong, there was some hot water. It was marked as “scolding hot water” not as an attraction and it was sat amongst rocks so you couldn’t do much to create a little pool to get in or anything. I only noticed it when some kids were digging around in it. It was also a bit on the windy/chilly side so all in all I didn’t get particularly involved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is best place of entertainment and for natural spa. They got nice dress changing place here. Lots car parking near the Spa Park Thermal Pools. I like the river water also. Though it’s cool. I love this place.
