★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought a banquet for 2, admit I was a bit slack about being choice ready, but when guy suggested Butter chicken, expected a bit of spice. Meal bland, i like medium in my indian food. Wasn't asked what spice level I wanted, a waste of $35, really sad as had enjoyed my last meal there.

A group of us ran a fun experiment ordering a variety of options from every outlet in Dunedin over two months and every time the number one result was Tandooree Garden. The owner/chef is such a beautiful human... and such an amazing cook. For Freshness, for flavour, for a healthy satisfying good Indian cuisine then you must try. The low level marketing and signage possibly shows where the focus is... Beautiful food !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tandooree Garden is a favourite in my families household, the first time we tried their butter chicken we got it for almost a week in a row and every time it’s been so good! just lovely comfort food with really good serving sizes for it’s price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been our go-to Indian takeway for 8 years since our Indian friend said it was the best she'd tasted in NZ. Nandan is lovely and remembers our name and regular order (even when it's been a couple of months)! We even got extra and froze them for a treat during lockdowns ?❤️
