Tangoio falls scenic tracks are an escape from all sorts of Disturbances. It is a track with a stream going beside the it.. There are two beautiful waterfalls as main attractions, Te Ana falls which is only a 40 minutes walk from carpark and Tangoio falls Lookout which is a 1 hour return walk...It is an easy walk which can be enjoyed by people with average fitness.. Need hiking shoes as the surface is slippery at areas .

A pleasant easy walk and the falls are picturesque, the walk is well made and suitable for most abilities, you can tackle the uphill section to a lookout to another water fall, but take your time as it's uphill all the way. There is a distant view of the waterfall up this track, whereas the first falls can be touched up close.

Great short walk to waterfalls and really nice for a family outing. 20 mins walk to Te Ana Falls. Water is cold but It’s refreshing after hot summer walk. There’s another waterfall further up about 15 mins walk but be mindful that it’s only a look out and some of the track are about 500mm - 600mm you need to be extra careful especially when the ground is wet could be a little slippery.

There are 2 waterfalls in this Reserve. The first one is a small Falls after a short walk after crossing the swing bridge; the 2nd one is much bigger one but only visible from a platform that’s built at a distance n to reach there you have to climb uphill. It’s worth the effort though

Has a big parking area with a toilet at the end, there is tables and seating on the other side of the swing bridge. It's a easy walk along the side of the stream to the 1st waterfall (Te Ana falls). Then on your way to Tangoio falls the walkway is all uphill and can be muddy and slippery when wet so be careful IG?_leon_04

The track is much more difficult & steep after the first and on way up to the second waterfall. A little underwhelming, as the first was prettier. Was quite muddy in one big spot but otherwise a good track.

Scenic walk through native bush to a couple of beautiful waterfalls. There is public toilet (long drop) and plenty of parking in the carpark. The track starts over an impressive timber suspension bridge and follows the stream up to Te Ana Falls and then Tangoio Falls a little further up. The track continues past the falls and goes all the way up to White Pine Scenic Reserve however it is currently closed above Te Ana Falls due to a landslide. Nice spot for a walk.

Great reserve with 2 walking track options - both are pretty easy so great for families or a walk to a cool off spot in summer. Good facilities available with a long drop style toilet and a covered picnic table. Remember to leave no trace when you visit by not littering. You can also join onto white pine bush (1 hr walk)
