A short 15 min easy walk from the car park. A MUST VISIT place in Napier. Truly amazing place

Beautiful waterfall at the end of a short track. Wet and slippery in places during winter but well worth the walk. I would love to come nack in summer to swim under the falls. Very picturesque.

We arrived early morning in autumn, and the tracks were just incredible. The access to the car park is just off the main road and can't be missed as it is well signposted. Plenty of parking space available. There's a sign with details about both walks that start just over the swing bridge. Most of the track is fairly good, but I suspect it can get muddy when it's rained for a couple of days. I would say this is a must-do if you're in the area. This would also suit kids as we saw a few along the walk

Te Ana falls is part of the Tangoio falls walkway. Has a very big parking area with toilet, tables and seating are on the other side of the swing bridge. It is a easy walk along side the stream to the waterfalls base, it can be muddy and slippery on wet/dewy days so be careful IG?_leon_04

Great place to have a little dip if you're up for it. Walk is easy enough for young kids and definitely not 40min.

Small but beautiful. Track sign said 40 minutes return but we made it there in 12 minutes at a normal walking pace. Well formed & maintained track too.

Beautiful little waterfall located in a small grotto 20mins walk from the carpark. The track is easy going and follows the stream up after crossing the large timber suspension bridge at the carpark. Further upstream is Tangoio Falls where there is a viewing platform and the track continues up to White Pine Scenic Reserve. However the track is currently closed above Te Ana Falls due to a landslide.
