★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suan Ni pork was too thick however it was a good flavour and quantity very good for Auckland. For the beef and tofu spicy casserole the szechuan pepper corns was a little lacking however after covid this could be a supplier issue with getting quality products from China all the other flavours were spot on and the quality was high. The fried chicken with Chili was juicy and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I discovered this place soon after lockdown and have been a regular since. The ambience is spectacular and I feel pampered with the huge tea selection. The service has that family vibe, welcoming and warm. And the food tastes delicious. Me and my partner eat here atleast twice a week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These two stars only gave to the ambience. Food looked delicious but tasted awful and lacked flavour. I wondered did the chef ever tasted the dishes that he cooked? ? Did he forget to put salt?? Every dish that we ordered tasted so plain. Won’t come here anymore... overpriced and overrated. very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotted this restaurant today which is next to the Oteha Valley Z Station. We went in for lunch and the first thing I noticed were the amazing arrays of ceramic wares on display. The second thing was the aromatic herbal soup aroma that reminds me of my mum's kitchen. We had the pork broth hot pot. Note the cost is by weight so don't go overboard with the heavier meat items. We selected from the buffet bar an assortment of veges, tofu, pork ribs and noodles which came up to $48 for two of us. These were cooked for us in the kitchen and served piping hot about 15 minutes later. It was immensely enjoyed and I can't wait to visit again when they expand their menu to include noodles, dumplings and desserts.
If you get a chance, talk to the owner and ask him to explain how and where the earthenware were manufactured.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and kids ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken, Crispy Chicken starters & Potato & Brisket! Simply amazing! The waiter was friendly, loved the decor & the food came pretty soon after it was ordered. Well priced for the quality of the cuisine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eating here as we usually go to the other end of Oteha Valley Road. But this is our new number one favourite spot for Chinese food!
Good selection of vegetarian choices. Plain and simple and delicious

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience!!! Had been this place for quite fews times with friends and finally got a piece of quiet moment to write a review. Food is awesome! Decoration is rarely to see in other Chinese restaurants. My friends and I often BYO or you can try Chinese Vodaka (they call Bai Jiu) sold in restaurant, and order a couple of spicy dishes, we enjoyed every night over there.
