We ordered a plain base soup pot with beef/lamb slices, oyster mushrooms, dried fried tofu, glass noodles and kumara noddles with a combination of sauces. I’ve been here 5 times.
All was okay until we spotted one Chinese man smoking his e-cigarette INSIDE the restaurant.
We notified a staff member that there was a customer smoking his e-cigarette inside. She said she doesn’t know, giving me an expression that she doesn’t understand. We told her TWO times.
There was no action taken regarding that. He kept on smoking his e-cigarette inside. This is ridiculous. We are so disappointed. I recommended this place to my dad and he never wants to go back. It was filthy and disgusting. Please educate your staff regarding health matters in restaurants. It is illegal to smoke cigarettes or e-cigarettes inside a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is exceptionally tasty. Recommend doing half spicy and half non spicy. The menu has plenty of choices. Worth getting the lamb skewers. Everything is quite fresh too. Place has a nice atmosphere and wasn't busy either. Service given was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite go to hot pot restaurants in town. Spicy broth not too spicy and oily. Fresh meat, seafood, and vegetables. Highly recommend kumara cheese pie and skewers. Great service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotpot soup was very tasty, it does not need seasoning for me. Bbq pork and chicken were delicious, one of the best in Albany. Great location, clean and tidy restaurant. Just one comment, food were inconsistently served. Maybe next time serve the food all together. :)
