★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rugged and bewitching beach with a campground near by. There is some lovely areas to walk along the beach with rock pools and rough rocks. There was some dotterels on the shore and lovely views of the sky and hills.This beach is also great for swimming as they have toilets and a cold shower to wash off the salty water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice reserve, plenty of car parking and a good sized grass area to play in. Dogs allowed on the beach all year as long as they are on their lead. There is a public toilet and a small playground. The playground has 3 swings, made up of one baby swing and 2 kid swings and there is a small double slide. Next to the playground is a good quality park bench, but it has no shade. The beach is a very pretty beach with nice sand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We read the reviews which indicated you could park up here, but NO CAMPING and MOTORHOME signs all over the place ... maybe this is a new thing?? Almost nobody parked up beachfront or using the beach.
Beautiful bay but the day we pulled in, a strong westerly was blowing straight into our faces which meant little or no reprieve from it, and sadly, any surf there might have been was flattened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing stop with the kids. A small playground, toilet with outdoor shower and a quiet estuary with little beach sites on the estuary made for an easy fun stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fabulous birthday waking up to being parked beside the beach is just fabulous. The people who are managing the camp are just so awesome and so very welcoming and friendly. This is my favourite place to come to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amasing white sandy surf beach, with lots of parking, large area of grass to hang out on. Even with the a camp ground right next to the beach it never feels crowded. Enclosed estuary for safe swimming if you are not a confident swimmer, and children play ground with swings and slide. Walk to Butterfly Bay through a rock tunnel at the far left of the beach. Cold fresh water shower and tap to wash sand off, and 2 clean and tidy flushing toilets.
