About Tauranga Cat Hotel
Hi I'm Lisa,
An ailurophile (eye-LOOR-uh-fyle) aka 'cat lover', a wife, a mum, and the owner of Tauranga Cat Hotel.
Before moving our family to Tauranga, we owned a much larger boarding cattery in Auckland. I have always loved animals and have raised and cared for several cats. Our family has three cats; Mittens, Mackintosh, and Flora.
We created Tauranga Cat Hotel to be somewhere we would want our cats to stay. Our customers travel from all over Tauranga including Pāpāmoa, Mt Maunganui, Bethlehem, Te Puna and as far as Katikati, Whakatāne and Waihi Beach for our care and service. Because our guest numbers are small, I spend time getting to know each cat, and they are treated like my own while they are in my care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We picked Strudel up after a month and she was NOT HAPPY to come home! Apparently the best time a cat can have is in the Cat Hotel! She is still looking at me in disdain so I have had to promise the cat she can go back in the next time we go away. ;)

Just want to say thank you so much for caring for our boy Norman over christmas. It was Normans first stay at a cattery and you made us feel so much at ease and knew he was in very kind and caring hands.
Was such a peace of mind for us knowing he was well looked after and safe and was so impressed with your premises and the units.
We will 110% send Norman back for a holiday with you and happily refer other people to your business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lisa recently looked after my special-needs cat, Stevie, for 10 weeks. Stevie is blind, has an adventurous, kind spirit and just LOVES kisses, cuddles and company. This was Stevie's first time staying at a cattery, and although my heart was wrenched, I can wholeheartedly and without any hesitation, recommend Lisa and the very special attention and relationship she gives her charges (plus the fur-parents). Lisa, you went over and above anything I ever hoped for Stevie, and it was obvious Stevie loved her time with you, and it was reciprocated.
