β β β β β We used Taurus to export our private vehicle from New Zealand to Queensland Australia. We found working with Taurus Logistics team both in New Zealand & Australia was fantastic. They made this vehicle export process a stress free experience. They even suggested local (once in Australia) company to assist us with the arriving countries road worthy & registration requirements. again another and stress free process. The regular updates and information made it easy for us to follow, and they were also available when you contacted them. β β β β β It was a difficult decision who to choose to go with to send a motorhome to Australia. We were absolutely delighted with Taurus's service. They all seemed to go beyond the call of duty. They were very helpful throughout and got it there within the price range they quoted. Their prices may seem higher than competitors, but beware, the others just quote low and then add heaps of extras on later which are already included in Taurus's quotes. I will definitely use their services again.

β β β β β Taurus Car Logistics NZ (Chch) was a pleasure to deal with, and tried their best to explain what to expect every step of the way while still being very clear about areas they aren't meant to advise on (car cleaning, etc. ). The nz website has also very clear guidelines and website urls for customers to refer to.
However their AU office (Melb) was more challenging to deal with, with no clarity provided as to what is expected of us when the car arrives. How are we meant to know what we don't know? Calls to the Melbourne office person made us feel like we were a nuisance to deal with, which is not a pleasant experience. Have they forgotten that moving a family vehicle from one country to another is not a common occurrence for customers ? It is a stressful and uncertain experience.
Even if they are not licensed to provide any advice on the subsequent AUVIS inspections, docs, then at least for god sake give us some general guidelines and refer us to the required AU government websites so we know what to do; we didn't even know where to start!
It really felt like we were hand- held all the way through from the NZ side only to be ignored and left to figure things out ourselves when we were on the AU side of the process. Clearly a market (AU vs NZ) misalignment on what an international business like Taurus defines a positive customer experience to be. I hope the Country Managers are reading this.

β β β β β Delivered my car to Brisbane on the 7th of March 2022 as requested, estimated delivery time was 15th March 2022 to Auckland received my car on the 5th of April after continuous delays 'understandable'. No hidden fees but was charged without prior notice of $30 Aud for getting my car on a ship quicker? Quoted as (Origin - Other Charges) Still don't understand why they would charge for something without mentioning anything about it. Communication was reliable and friendly but for someone who's shipping their car for the first time here is some valuable information.
Shipping costs quote are reasonably reliable but you have to consider the registration costs and arrival clearance costs at the port of your destination, basically I was quoted $2072 Aud and after receiving my car the total cost to get it came to 1975.39 Aud + 1331.16 Nz. Make sure you contact your local certifier and make reservations.
After a good month of receiving my car you will get a final invoice for the customs cleaning fee which is a bit of a kick in the guts. Overall delays do happen and I am happy with the service but there are minor scratches which isn't enough to apply for insurance.
The informations are on your website but if you were to state that "quote 'You want your goods shipped internationally from point A to point B without any hidden fees, costs or hassle?'" then you should make sure to inform every customer in the things that needs to be organised and inform them of the total costs including certification costs at the arriving port especially if you have offices in Nz and Aus would of been a much more "hassle free process." As I was overwhelmed at the actual costs that was needed in order to send my Mini Cooper from "A to B".

They helped me sort out all the required paper work and kept me informed along the whole way till I received my car out the other end. Their price was competitive compared to others too. β β β β β I recently engaged Taurus Logistics to ship my vehicle from Murray Bridge, South Australia. The whole experience was amazing. The staff at Taurus made the process so easy and hassle free.
Taurus handled the transporting of the vehicle from Murray Bridge to Melbourne, Marine Insurance, shipping from Melbourne to the Port of Auckland, all clearance at the port and transport from the port to Mt Wellington for the vehicle inspection.
The whole process took 3 weeks. There were no hidden costs and everything went very smoothly.
We found Taurus amazing to work with, nothing was a problem. We thank the team for their help as it was a first for us. We would certainly recommend using Taurus again.
