Lovely winding river to follow or just to sit under trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Taylor River Reserve walkway is a great asset for Blenheim and is accessible to walkers, cyclists, prams and dogs. The concrete pathways have been widened to accommodate everyone. The entire circuit is about 12ks and extends past Raupo Restaurant on the eastern side to the Burleigh Bridge (New Renwick Road) and beyond
Be aware of cyclists and dogs off- leash passing by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just like a lot of girls I went to school with its pretty and popular which occasionally makes it a bit of a pain. Also, like a lot of pretty and popular girls I went to school with, it gets boring after a while.
Unfortunately, Blenheim is severely lacking when it comes to parks which allow dogs. Our MP has deprioritized constituents interested in places to exercise their pets so if you don't want to drive 40- minutes round trip, it's all we have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used a lot by all types of people wanting to walk explore exercise Those with dogs do not always pick up behind themselves/dogs. The southern side of the rail bridge is used as a dumping ground for all types of rubbish and is frequently used for heavy drinking sessions where all types of rubbish is left behind and can get confrontational if you point out that it is not a dumping ground, toilet and a place to have open air set while others are passing through.
