★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using this butchery for 5 years without hesitation.
It has been by far the best,cleanest and most affordable butchery for what you get.
I recommend it to all my friends.
But last weekend i went to get my usual meat shop and i bought some sausage and a st louis pork rib.
The sausage was dreadfully over-spiced beyond edible.
The st louis pork ribs was off the day i bought it and defrosted it.
Went to the store and told them about it on the way to work and they didnt want to know anything about it,i never asked for a refund but the lady behind the counter came up with all the excuses in the book (pork ribs can’t be defrosted on the counter for 2 hours because it goes off)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a regular customer of this store and have always loved their meat, but yesterday at 3:30 I took my mother to buy meat and the man at the checkout was Racial discrimination! The cashier yelled at my mother because she didn't speak English, "Take your stuff and get out of my store." He yelled twice, It scared my daughter and made her cry， I felt it was necessary to treat customers with basic respect regardless of whether my mother spoke English or not, and this kind of shock and discrimination made me stop patronizing them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EXTREMELY poor manager! Definitely needs a lesson and courses in how to deal with customers. Reacted so badly just because we have asked if meat is halal.
I have asked him politely if meat is halal and his reply was pathetic! ALL meat in NZ is halal as he claimed.
NONE OF THE MEAT THERE IS HALAL. You have been deceiving alot of people with u claims and the word will go around. I promise you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought two chicken breast today and found that one of them were gone bad.
Checked the date it was packed and it was packed on 1st May which has already passed 6 days but it was still selling at their fridge.
Called a store and lady didn’t even say sorry to me and kept telling me an excuse and their meats are all packed on the day and fresh which I don’t want to hear.
She asked me to bring back but it was for our dinner tonight and don’t want to waste my time and petrol going there again to just get $10 money back.
Lady has no idea how to treat unhappy customers. Please train your staff. I won’t visit there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the store on Saturday afternoon. We were appalled at the owner’s behaviour, when he yelled at one of the staff in front of all the customers - “Darren!!!! I told you an hour ago to start cleaning up!!!” The guy getting yelled at is the friendliest, most polite staff member there. How disgusting speaking to your staff like that at all, let alone when their are customers present! The owner is so taciturn and unfriendly. The meat is really good, and if not for that, we wouldn’t bother going there
To the owner - you are nothing but a rude bully. You have no right to treat your staff so disrespectfully
