About The Bakery Basket
The Bakery Basket places great emphasis on supporting local businesses and organisations
- our flour is milled in Seaview
- we use Fair Trade organic coffee which is roasted on Eastbourne wharf by Karamu Coffee
- we use mushrooms from Carterton and veggies from Market Gardeners in Grenada North
- our packaging is made locally by Charta Packaging and Allen Paper
We donate leftovers to local charities and help local schools and organisations with event sponsorship. We also support local young people by offering work experience to college, university and polytechnic and Gateway students.

β β β β β I've always found the lack of easy parking to be a slight problem for Nada/The Bakery Basket. Their easy online ordering and delivery does help counter this issue. A chance to buy Nada's quality food right by the schools in Linden (Duncan St & Collins Ave) might not be the worst expansion idea.

β β β β β Have used the Bakery Basket on a couple of occasions during lockdown and they are fantastic. One basket was for me, and the other for family in Auckland who are doing it tough in Level 4 and both times it was great. Their gluten free pies are amazing and the pain au chocolat when down a real treat with the family in lockdown. Highly recommend and will definitely order again.

β β β β β Was ordering for a workplace morning tea which needed delivery to multiple locations in the North Island. The orders totally exceeded expectations and I would definitely consider Nada again if we ever have an opportunity to send out delicious gifts.
