The Bed Barn is a manufacturer based in Palmerston North. We know how to make beds. Our philosophy is to educate you about beds and leave you to make an informed decision. We only buy high quality products for our beds, pocket springs from Italy, bonnell springs from BHP steel in Australia. We use high density foam, which means more foam, stronger foam, longer lasting foam and therefore more comfort.
We use 100% wool underlays so you’ll be warm in winter, while keeping cool in summer. We only sell two sided mattresses. which allows you to turn them over if you wish to. We’ve compiled answers to our most frequently asked questions which you can read here

They manufacture your bed to order, with far superior products than the "other bed shops". Their prices are amazing, and from order-to-in-your-home is faster than the bigger shops, that have to ship from around the country.
There is something to suit every budget.

The bed was that comfortable that I asked the owners where they have got it from! They said they get all their mattresses from bed barn and that was how I ended up buying one from them. 3 years later my husband and I were that satisfied with our purchase that we ordered one for our 2years old baby girl. Perfect quality, great communication. Totally recommend them. Forget about Harvey norman and others. Get the better quality cheaper at bed barn.
