I ordered a mango and apple smoothie and it was horrible, first of all there was no mango taste only apple and the smoothie was water thin. I don't think it had any milk in and it just tasted like apple juice. For this alone I would do one star but the thing that brings my rating up is the pizza. We ordered the Italian sausage pizza and it may be pricey but its amazing. The flavor was beautiful and the size was very generous. The base was very well made and the toppings were also very generous. If you are going I recommend the pizza but definitely NOT a smoothie.
M	Manz Star on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in as a walk-in during level 2, it had been awhile since we last ate here. Ordered avo on toast with poached eggs - got fried instead. Daughter ordered eggs bene with bacon, hubby had fish and chips and I had to order an adult serving of scrambled eggs on toast for my 3 year old. I ordered a Japanese tea - which I think I got green tea. Service - 2/5 found waitress staff to be un-hospitable Food - edible, not enjoyable. My daughter's eggs bene looked the nicest and was completely finished. Fish and chips - chips were OK. Fish had a yellow looking batter, no crunch or crispness you'd expect for fish and chips. My extra eggs which were suppose to be poached were fried but not completely cooked to be a fried egg as in the egg white was still clear ? toast for scrambled and avos was super thick and super dry, we had to ask for butter cos it didn't come buttered. Usually the food there is OK but maybe it's a new cook? Cos the food was not recommended at all by my kids and myself. The last time we will be spending over $100 for that food - Not worth it. Just go for coffee and maybe their muffins are OK? Last time I had it it was dry as. That is the truth! You pay for a meal that should be worth at least the amount you pay for.
H	Hilda Sue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had our work appreciation celebrations and used the outdoor area, loved the venue enjoyed the service by the two lovely young ladies who were more then accommodating... weather was off and on with wellington that is expected sheltered area worked a treat... we haven't heard any sour comments about our night from our guess so thumbs up from us to you.. Sister and I had a glass of wine each with our meal... (I did not get the glass of wine I had ordered? I was offered a replacement immediately. Chose to keep to what was served. Young mum, sitting opposite from sis and I chose to have a glass of water! Our eyes were bigger than our bellies obviously...(sister and I) 2 large pizzas (both very tastingly yummy) , 2 large garlic flat breads(very good), big bowl of crinkle hot (oozingly delicious and crunchie ???) chips, Bowl of barbecued pork belly bites, (devine) Bowl of barbecued spicy boneless chicken bites(again devine) We ended up taking almost 3/4 of meal home via takeaway boxes! We had already had a few snacks before deciding last minute to see you... dear Borough? ?? We all enjoyed our meals and the service. Price was fairly reasonable. Thank you Borough in Tawa We may be seeing you again very soon
J	Joanne Hosie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another enjoyable evening at the borough. We got the Sirloin, fish n chips, fried chicken. Espresso martini and espresso milkshake. The fish n chips were average..small piece of fish and dry cold chips. However I was impressed with a particular staff member. One of the waitresses dropped a glass and another waitress came straight over and the first thing she said is "are you ok?"then continued to help her colleague. The review jumped from 3 to 4 stars.
J	Jordana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried The Borough the other night for the first time. Super spacious and the tables become packed as soon as we were half way through our meals which is a good sign! We started off with a couple of cocktails and frozen margaritas which was both delicious. For mains we got the pork belly as well as the fish of the day and halloumi fries. The pork belly and fish chip was cooked perfectly - both had delicious flavours too! There wasn’t anything special with the halloumi fries but it still went well with the mains.
