About The Christmas Village
Owning a Christmas shop is the realization of a dream for me. Christmas has always been a beautiful time in my life. Firstly as a child my mum always decorated our home and the house was full of the smells of lovely cooking, pine trees and excitement. Then in my own home, I began my Christmas traditions in 1980 when my husband Wayne and I were blessed with our first child. I made my own Christmas decorations and our home was sparkly and bright for 3 months of the year. Nine years later and 4 more children our home was bigger and there was a fresh pine tree in every bedroom and the lounge. And my Christmas collection had begun.
My passion for christmas was all year round. Where ever we travelled I would seek out Christmas shops and much to Wayne’s delight we always came home with Christmas items regardless of the time of year.
In 2008 we were lucky enough to travel through Scotland and visit a beautiful Christmas shop. It was one of the highlights of our trip for me and with the help of our wonderful family and friends I have tried to re-create a mini version of that amazing shop in ‘The Christmas Village’.
The Christmas Village is a family business with our children and grandchildren all involved and helping when they can. I feel so privileged to spend my days surrounded by the magic and wonder that Christmas brings and I sincerely hope that if you visit our village it will be a magical and memorable experience for you to.
I warmly invite you to come and see our beautiful new Christmas Village with stunning new items for the established Christmas collector or the beginning Christmas enthusiast. Our lovely range has something for everyone. Whatever your position we would love to see you in our unique village and welcome you to come and share in the magical feeling of Christmas.

β β β β β What a great Christmas shop. There's all sorts of Christmas decorations that will suit all ages. We drove up early from Whanganui and spent an enjoyable hour and spent rather a lot of money there. Take a full wallet or topped up credit card ? ?

β β β β β Last year while travelling for work I came across this amazing place. Unfortunately due to Auckland being in lockdown I have been unable to visit the store in person this year. After watching their Christmas tree decorating tutorial video , I reached out to the team , who did an amazing job with helping me pick garlands, flowers and ribbons for me to try first hand decorating my own tree. I look forward to visiting the store again soon in person. Well worth a 4+ hours drive
