★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is wonderful, the creme brulee donut delightfully decadent. The coffee is good, and the venue is beautiful. Being located next door to a fabulous garden centre is a bonus. Clareville Bakery is a treat.

Croissants, cronuts, donuts, brownies.
Sandwhiches, filled croissants.
Fresh baked full loaves available.
A variety of sweet treats / tray bakes.
A range of hot Pies, mince and cheese is good but could do with some more gravy and the cheese spread thorughout the pie and not just on top.
Hot food available, eggs benedict and eggs on toast are both very popular. The benedict can be with bacon or ham.
Cheery and friendly staff.
Free water available.
Own range of products to purchase and take home, such as jams and keep cups.
Outdoor seating area.
Child play area.
Cold soft drinks available in the fridge. These are expensive!
Disabled friendly entrance.

Delicious pies , fresh breath and pastries well worth stopping in. Big parking lot so if you have a motorhome it's no problem parking although busy road so care required getting back out on to the main road.
Lamb cutlet pie well worth a try.

Their cronuts are outstanding. Something you won't find anywhere but here.
Gorgeous old church building that's been refurbished into a cute bakery/cafe with multiple eating options.
Always busy.

We turned up upon recommendation from a friend as we were travelling all round the Wairarapa and we were certainly not disappointed. We immediately were overwhelmed with the smell of freshly baked goods, both sweet and savoury. After the maze of hot cross bus and others packaged goods we made it to the front cabinet. Cronuts, Creme Brulet Donuts, Brownies and more displayed as well as pies and sausage rolls. Plenty of choice and a wide variety. Great coffee and service.
Couldn't recommend it more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Clareville Bakery for the first time recently and now we’ll definitely be visiting every time we’re passing through or close enough to Carterton! An incredible range of cabinet food that everyone will enjoy. We ordered a cooked breakfast which was their version off French toast using a toasted croissant instead. It’s was absolutely delicious. The coffee was great and we were quick to order our second coffee along with some pasties. If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out!
