β β β β β This is THE BEST Bank that I've ever been with. Firstly Jared then Joyce & their team have ALWAYS looked after me. They've treated me not only as a valued customer, but also as a human being! I had no trouble at all, asking for hardship assistance through COVID-19 Lockdown & had a mortgage deferral. They have previously also given me this hardship assistance during a serious health crisis & hospitalization.
Cooperative Bank has THE BEST mortgage rates on offer & will probably 'price match' any other lower rate you might find. I've never seen better, they are ALWAYS equal best!!
Move your mortgage & all your personal banking with Cooperative Bank Onehunga, you will never regret it.
You will be cared for as though you are a valued family friend!!
(I've had AWFUL service with ANZ Business Banking & will never recommend ANZ)

β β β β β I have been waiting to write this review as i am so upset from the treatment from this bank. I have all my banking with the co-op bank. In december i wanted to up the amount on my credit card, this went through fine. It was nice and quick and i had no issues with anything or anyone. Then came February. I approached the bank for a debt con. Everything was fine and Amy assured me there would be no issues. The loan app had to go to credit but she told me twice this was just a formality and the loan would be approved. This proved to be a lie. Even though i have banked with them for nearly 6 years, I was told no. Without any real explanation. Honestly, after this i would never suggest anyone banks with them after this. Honestly i have never been treated so badly or been lied to, to my face. Truly disgusting service.

β β β β β Polite friendly staff but very hard to get anything sorted and they close at 3pm so not very convenient! Their rules around POA and verification are strict and different to other banks so not easy to deal with when trying to sort issues out with the elderly. I provided the same info to other banks and other government agencies but these guys wonβt accept it and create extra hoops to jump through so not a place Iβd recommend if you want to keep it simple! Now I have my lawyer telling them the rules! Worst bank ever!
