β β β β β Sewing Machine World is old school and I love it. The service is friendly and knowledgable.They don't have a great website for online shopping but trust me if you head instore they have reasonably priced haberdashery, knitting yarn and lots of quilting fabric and supplies. You can also order products over the phone.
The sewing machines are not as competitively priced as the big box stores like Spotlight, but unlike Spotlight, you get product demonstrations, service and help when you need it. I bought my first overlocker here and all the Sewing Machine World team have given me help learning to use it.

Thinking it might be a costly exercise, the assistant (sorry I should have asked your name) suggested she look at it before sending to a technician. Up to an hour later problem solved! Very kind, friendly and patient- canβt recommend this store highly enough; thank you!

β β β β β The most lovely little shop in all of Onehunga! They don't have any wool that is sparkly, but they have every other color!
Their customer service is UNMATCHED
I really appreciated how they didn't try and talk to me until I was ready to pay for my things. The fact that they just left me alone will definitely assure I come back to this place! Definitely 10/10 recomend!
