★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mary and I had a Sunday evening at the Bistro, if we could we'd add more stars than five! The bistro staff led by Ash dished up two magnificent meals, one a steak, the other a Thai beef salad. The bar staff too very friendly and attentive, we get the impression Ngunguru has great community spirit, altogether a great experience in a tranquil setting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food and friendly service. We ordered the brisket, ribs and lamb shoulder on share plates for three of us. The accompanying sauces were delicious and the side dishes were generously portioned and tasty. Did I mention the lemon cheesecake - the best I've had. Much better than pub style food, the quality is as good as any restaurant I've been in.
