★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for meal here recently. We had the tandoori kebab which was delicious. My husband really enjoyed his main meal so we went back the next night, which is a rare occurrence. We had the tandoori platter again which was again lovely. We both had the main meal my husband had had the night before
It was completely different and pretty disappointing. The flavour just wasnt there, so i am guessing it just depends on who is cooking

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very worst customer service. Seems they are very busy and they forgot how to treat the customers. Ring them for booking dinner, the person on the phone did not let us think and cut the phone immediately. Not going there again and not recommending it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered MATAR MUSHROOM MASALA which is supposed to be a mushroom based meal.
Unfortunately the description says mushrooms cooked with peas. It should say peas with one or two mushrooms if you are lucky.
It tastes nice but is done with majority of peas I presume to make more profit!!
I have had this meal twice presuming the first was just a one off, but no I was wrong.
Think I’ll try another Indian restaurant next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome Indian food! This place really does it well. A nice atmosphere in either the indoor or the outdoor dining experience.
Staff were good, local beverages were very good and the food was great.
All the breads were exceptionally well done - and the curries were amazing.
A great place for families, friends and even couples to enjoy a nice night out (if you are a couple and want to be away from the crowds (or kids) then the booths outside, down the side, are perfect for that romantic date night curry.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've dined here often over the years. It's been great... But not this time. Service was slow and all 5 of us were disappointed. We all chose medium heat meals... but what we got lacked any punch at all. Too mild and much less flavour. Very sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Nelson from Auckland and had a craving for Indian food, was pleasantly surprised by this Indian eatery. Great quality indian food, Decent service and most of all "VALUE" for money! not overly priced.
There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a nice social dinner!
Do try their Platters for starter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten in at the centrally located city premises, bought take out and had a delivery to the free house across the road. Every time the food is exceptional. The aroma of spices cooking has made my mouth water. The flavours are blended beautifully. Service has always been great and delivery quick. I love the quirky old building that houses this restaurant . Eat inside or out a positive dining experience every time.
