Welcome to The Londoner
A great place to meet & chat with friends and enjoy our tasty English food and beverages. Arguably the best English Pub in the City, we are situated in one of Hamilton's magnificent historical buildings.
Enjoy an English beer served by the pint or one of our craft beers brewed here in NZ and don't worry we also stock an excellent range of premium and imported beers.
We have great home cooked & fresh English food that you're love, and an all day bar snack menu.
In our sports bar area we show live sport on the big screen, host pub quizzes, and have a pool table available for your entertainment. Be it sat outside watching the world go by in the summer or tucked up and cozy by the fire in the winter the Londoner is the place to go.
If you're planning your birthday party or event give us a call, we provide a casual warm and friendly environment in which to meet, have dinner or snacks and enjoy the company of your friends and family, and for those that want to party on through the night we can assist with arranging live music and are easy walking distance to the nightclubs and casino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First impression customer service is louzey , no table service for beverages prior to meal I had to physically go place the meal as no one was taking table orders wait time was 45 minutes with only a few people dinning in, meal when presented consisted of 1brocillie 1carrort slice 1cauliflower piece with watery gravy an a side of small chicken breast definitely not worth the $28 , we did get a refund but he was rather abrubt n rude an basically snatched the plate from Infront of my partner an left her sitting there stunned with no meal he later returned with cash n slapt on table saying sorry I can't help you just shocked that pride isn't taken in the serving of meals or portion sizes for price I will never eat here again or recommend it .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are so few places you can go for a meal and get traditional English fare, like roast beef, gammon steak or lamb shanks. The Londoner was a regular treat for my late father (himself a Londoner) and returning there reminds me of him, his many colourful navy tales and whiskey fuelled philosophy. In the winter there's an actual fire, with small cosy tables for two alongside it. This establishment is a lot roomier than many and you can talk without either being drowned out by music or having to hear three orher conversations. Great selection of RTDs and top shelf spirits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great meal - super yum food - but the best part was being chased down the road when my mum left glasses behind. Truely caring staff - big ❤️ to them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our wedding reception here over a year ago and the staff were so kind and accommodating. The manager even took some notes for her own wedding! The food was marvelous - we're still raving about it to all our friends and whaanau. If you're there, make sure you try the deep fried camembert and the hot pot pie! The apple pie is also legendary and goes well with a splash of beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are awesome and friendly. The food is filling, yummy and goes with the English pub theme. Good selection of beer. They will often have specials for St Patrick’s day which is fun. A good place for a comfort lunch with work mates too on a winters day. Nothing like their pot pie and mash. One of few places in town to have Guinness on tap as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an enjoyable night. Good atmosphere and service.
Food was great. One little moan. The shrimp cocktail was overpriced for the size of the dish.
