★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa is New Zealand's national museum, located in Wellington. Interesting and beautiful art, but as a museum, it's poorly kept. It's a small room crammed with stuff off of a tattoo studio. Obviously in need of support from the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some interesting and beautiful art, but as a museum, it's really poorly kept. Two small rooms without any information about what you see. Most of the portfolios and books are empty as well. Bit of a letdown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not what it use to be! It has been reduced to basically a tattoo parlor. You can get a chat from the owner if you plan ahead. While there if your impressed get a tattoo too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was disappointed. It's a couple of rooms attached to a tattoo studio. There are poorly lit cabinets stuffed with unidentified curios, pictures, magazines and tattoo portfolios. It seems like more of gimmick to pull in fresh canvas to ink than an actual museum.
