At The Orewa Grocer, we want to create a space where the local community can come and do that too.
We believe a good business should be good for everyone. So, it’s important to us that we have equitable partnerships with our suppliers, provide a hub for local producers, and offer great value to our customers.
We're only new so our store will evolve based on community feedback. If there’s something you’d like us to stock, just let us know and we'll look into it.

I love to buy the fresh dates from here and eat them as a treat when I pick up my daughter from school. Better than lollies!
A great selection of food from this store. Lemonade apples! I haven't seen those in ages or I'm just blind. I had never heard of Piqa Boo pears, either. Now my favourite fruit! Sweet, crisp and juicy.
This will become my go to shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great products and friendly environment. I now go Saturdays or Sundays for fresh bread , fruit, vegetables, pasta (such variety) and mexican salsas ! Oh and they have a-lot of local products such as honey, olive oil, kefir, eggs and salsas.

Great interior with a modern farm style aesthetic. Clean, but not too sterile. Great selection of products that you can’t get off the grocery store shelves. I’d highly suggest stopping by at the end/start of your grocery shop for the bits and pieces that elevate your food from plain to Jack Fontaine. Great stuff, fresh produce, and a genuinely friendly family behind the scenes make the Orewa Grocer an instant Orewa Classic.

I guess this will only improve as time goes by. Good to hear they are dealing with local suppliers where they can. Obliging , friendly people.
