About The Physio Studio - Hamilton

Melissa was born and raised on a dairy farm in the mighty Manawatu. After graduating first in class from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (First Class Honours) in 2016, Melissa moved to Hamilton to start her career.

Having treated a range of different injuries, Melissa enjoys working with the many different clients that walk through her doors. This includes top age group triathletes, recreational to ultra-marathon runners, CrossFit and boxing athletes, the elderly, hobby enthusiasts and many who experience aches and pains from every day or work-related activities.

Coming from a sporting background, Melissa utilises the knowledge she has gained over the years from her experiences to help deliver quality and personalised treatment. Outside of work, Melissa likes to stay active and compete in triathlons. If she’s not swimming, biking or running, Melissa will be off tramping, adventuring or out on the lake in her favourite place, Taupo.
