★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t even know what type of fish I got but it most definitely was not blue cod! It was all batter then the fish inside was tough and rubbery as anything had to throw it away. My partners burger was ice cold in the middle, and the spring roll was tasteless. Definitely won’t be returning!

The fish was awesome, nice and crispy and not too oily. Chips were crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside, basically perfect!
Reasonable pricing, paid $16,70, just a pity that the cheapest fish can't be ordered as crumbed, so had to order hoki. Really recommend though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meal we got was 2 fish, 2 crabsticks and a scoop of kumara chips. When we received our order it was given in paper bags which was a first. It didn't keep our meal hot the same way wrapped in paper does. But our order was cooked well and I would go back again as well as recommend it to friends and family

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually really yummy food. Felt really sorry for the owner because the whole area is just lifeless. No foot traffic to sustain these shops. Anyway, really loved the food but hold onto your wallet because I dropped mine right after walking out of the shop and it got stolen.
I hope this shop survives somehow because they were kind to me and served promptly, a decent sized serving and very reasonably priced. We ate by the playground watching the pier lights and ocean.
