Service was slick and uncomplicated. Cheap @ $4.95. Nothing to rave about in regards to the final product.. hence -1 star.
Parking to get into this place is a pain... heaps of other fish and chip places in Christchurch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place by chance while we were looking for a fish n chips last minute. BEST FISH N CHIPS in Christchurch!!! The fish was super yum and it wasn’t too oily like how it is in other places. It was even more delicious with tartare sauce. Same with the chips. We also bought the chicken breast burger after seeing how popular they were rated when we googled the store while waiting for our order. Super crispy and tasted delicious as well. BONUS it was cheaper than other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a mistake of ordering 2 burgers ? .... wow the sizes are incredible and out of ordinary. (Literally bigger than my face) Did not expect such portion with such taste... the local operators were kind and quick... only regret I had was that my stomach was not ready for this great battle ? Definitely recommend as it's great for its value and others probably couldn't compete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Based on the reviews & article decided to give a visit and was blown away with the food. I'd get Hoki crumbed fish, chicken breast burger and chips all for just over $13 ?. For the first time in all fish & chips takeaway, the food was still hot, very crispy & crunchy ?, big portion size, very tasty ? and at a very affordable price with good friendly service. The chicken breast fillet is massive, crisp & crunchy so is fish fillet. This will be my go to fish n chips shop now onwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, after reading about this place, on a wet Saturday I thought I'd try it out. Beautiful golden crisp chips, large golden piece of fish and a massive paua pattie to die for! Total bargain at $10.20 for massive meal, beautiully hand cut chips of solid size. Very highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.
