★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely outstanding food. Caters for vegan, GF etc and an amazing menu to choose from. Had crispy cauliflower flowerettes with haulumi, so yum. Coffee excellent and you can talk and be heard. Acoustics is great. A must to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and fast service. The iced coffee is more like a frappe and had very little coffee flavour, not what you expect for $8. Cabinet food was dry and lacking in taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food and coffee. A pity the staff lack the friendliness that is required in hospitality.
We arrived at 2.15 pm and chose from the cabinet. Closing was at 3 pm, so we knew we had ample time.
At 2.40 pm an unmasked worker proceeded to clear our table and the mop was brought out for the floors.
If they close at 3 pm, why are they cleaning up around people? We were not the only customers at the time.This seems to be common practice in New Zealand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I popped in here for a coffee after a windy Sunday walk on Pt Chev beach. It was pretty busy with some tables reserved. From the start we felt unwelcome. I don't know if it was our beach swept hair or the sand on our shoes but the vibe was definitely off. Our coffees and drinks were great but the food was very average, we had a brioche which tasted undercooked (we were told it was the mozzarella not uncooked dough) ?. The menu food looked good though, food envy...
