★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place had great character. To me it seemed like a real, genuine, no frills place. The units we stayed in were clean and warm and all we needed. The food was good hearty stuff and good portions. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. It’s not flash - but a really awesome place. If you’re going to complain about it in any way - you’re a fussy person who’ll never be pleased. We’d definitely go back ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I have stayed here. Room absolutely clean, copious amounts of tea,coffee, sugar and about 15 tubs of milk!!! Restaurant meal was huge and tasty (Roast Lamb) and cheap. Highly recommended you stay here. Management thinks of Customer service. AAAA+

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here last night 16th May 2022 to celebrate a special birthday. There were 5 adults. We ordered 2 schnitzel, 1 roast, 1 steak and 1 fish. The schnitzel came out first and we waited and waited for the other meals. We had nearly finished the schnitzel when we asked about the other 3 meals oh they coming. I would have thought the steak would have bn cooked then schnitzel and all bought out together. The steak meal had hardly any fries and the wrong sauce was bought out. The batter on the fish was so hard was like a brick. Ordered desserts which were ok. Ordered 2 SINGLE shot cappuccinos. They came out as doubles. YUK. Took them back and got told singles weren't Ordered. WRONG. All the main meal plates were left on the table so there wasn't much room. Drinks. Asked for a sweet white wine. 3 waitress or whoever said they knew nothing about wine..??? All in all a terrible experience and staff not nice at all. Don't think we'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in for lunch on Mothers Day. The food is appalling. Ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was served cold in the middle. Took it back & it appears their fix was heating the plate of food in the microwave. That ended up overcooking everything on the plate - the schnitzel ended up as tough as. Lack of care, poor customer service and no apology for serving poor quality food. Quite frankly the chef should be given the boot. Best advice is to stay well away from this establishment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually have a great meal here. Last night's wasn't the usual quality. The chips were double dipped in hot oil, it appeared that the fish was too. Sorry just not the usual standard we are used too. We will be back but only to see if it was a bad night. Staff were happy and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had some variations with quality over the years of going here but presently its great. Gosh what lovely staff, smiles, greetings, always a hello or a goodbye. Food is very nice and certainly manage to eat enough. Nothing is an issue. Found the sauce btw ?
