β β β β β Great clean room. Modern decor. Large TV, much more in the kitchenette than expected, including a coffee plunger, microwave and toaster. Continental breakfast was cheap and satisfying. Bathroom was modern. Had my own secluded deck with table and chairs. So close to many varied eateries and a Countdown supermarket just across the road. Couldn't hear any traffic noise from my room so sleep was easy. Close to work so I'll be back.

β β β β β Room is excellent, clean tidy and modern, probably the newest room in the area. Can tell its a new building, come with fridge, microwave, modern hd tv, aircon, reliable and fast WiFi, newly furnished bathroom, bedside lamps even have wireless charging features, you even get a small balcony which is great for a cuppa in the arvo, more importantly the location is excellent, close to all the shops on riccarton and countdown is just right opposite the road.
Secured locked under covered free parking is also available. Mikey is really friendly and helpful, we have been well looked after by the team during the stay. Definitely would come again.

β β β β β A 1 night stay here at the Best Western Alpine Hotel. Good location at the bottom end of Riccarton, and only a few minutes drive from the airport.
Check in was hassel, and there were no car parks out the front, and I had to park several hundred meters down the street. Man at check in was friendly and efficient. I found a $200 hold on your card to be very excessive when other comparable places only hold around $50.
Parking was off a side street, behind some takeaway shops under the hotel (roller garage door) had to get out of the vehicle to swipe the key card. Very very tight carparks, and seemed to be quite limited.
Room was well appointed, with a large comfy bed, big TV and a lovely black tiled bathroom. A nice touch was a little outside patio, a view of nothing but a concrete wall, but nice all the same!
Shower pressure was a little low I thought, but that is a matter of opinion I guess. I was awoken several times during the night with people talking loudly in the hallway and banging doors.
No Sky TV, just freeview.
All in all a good stay, and good value for money. I would return

β β β β β This is a wee honey of a boutique hotel.. It's new, modern and secure. Swipe card to enter the hotel or undercover car parking. Throughly thoughtful set up for the modern traveler. Not too many rooms or people. Micky on the front desk is professional and courteous and everything is done smoothly, check in prompt etc.. The private little balcony alcove is great small feature off the room. Highly recommend as best value for money room in Christchurch

β β β β β This place has saved my sanity twice now when I needed to be in Christchurch for at least a week. Quiet, clean and warm. The desk and WiFi excellent for work with a small private balcony attached to the room for break time. While it has parking it is next to a bus stop with useful bus routes. Strongly recommend.
