I would like to have had a better time when dealing with Toolshed, but unfortunately Ive had nothing but a headache dealing with them. Brought my drill in to be fixed 3 times, each time the drill has come back with problems. the first time they replaced the motor with a faulty one which burnt out in a matter of days, also they took the magnet off the side of the drill and i havent seen it since, upon returning it to be fixed they held the drill for days, only to ring me and tell me that the guy fixing the drill said "there is nothing wrong with it and he should have known since he is a sparky". As it turns out, a sparky does know about electric motors, and there was something wrong with the motor the he had installed, they then tried to charge me to fix the part they had only installed weeks earlier, saying that this time it wasnt the motor "it was the armature", which happens to be the same component in the drill. the second time saw the same problem as the first with another faulty motor put in. the third time i brought it in to have the gearbox replaced because 1st gear wasnt engaging, they had the drill for 9 working days, then rang me to tell me they couldnt replace the gearbox and i can come pick the drill up with no charge. now the chuck wont lock when i manually tighten it... rather frustrating as the drill is an essential tool. my drill is an 18v Dewalt 3 speed with hammer function.
