β β β β β Family dinner on a Monday night. Service was ok, worst margarita Iβve ever had, ribs and beef salad meat was incredibly tough. Over all very disappointing experience. Monday or not we expected better.

β β β β β Sorry to say but I did not rate this experience at all and I do not review restaurants often. There was hardly anything on offer on the menu (most things had been taken off) The food we received looked like it had either been store bought and taken out of the freezer and reheated, or just straight from a packet. The one star is for the lovely waitress that served us. I could feel her pain when she had to come back again and again to say that the items we requested were not available. We will not be returning

β β β β β Tha atmosphere is pretty chill at the restaurant but the bar is pretty cool for having a good time. The place is tidy so it's a good sign for a really good quality food.
I'm not sure about the history behind this place but I think it's one of the oldest taverns in NZ so that make the place more interesting than other places.

β β β β β Girls catch up lunch was made particularly fabulous by our host Sammy. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcome and just a little bit special. Warmth, humor, outstanding service, nothing a problem (we moved tables 4 times!). The food was exactly what we needed and super good value for money. Cannot recommend enough that you get to this place!
