But unfortunately on multiple occasions I have been denied a refund even though the item was within their 12 month warranty & damaged with reasonable use. As someone who has studied law at a tertiary level; i have found that this store often goes against 2 laws that exist to PROTECT the customer consumer. Obviously referring to the Goods & Services Act as well as the Fair Trading Act.
It would seem the lovely staff are not adequately trained on how to handle refunds, returns or warranty claims.
Its disappointing; having worked there for over 5 years to see the same practises being passed down from the top. It also doesn't help that their old heads on customer service seem constantly suspicious of their customers, the ones paying their wages. I won't name names out of respect & privacy but their is certainly a problem with the chain of command here. very disappointing.

β β β β β The Grumpy senior fellow at the check out is so rude every single time. He doesnβt look like he is happy working here. He told us: βCAN YOU MOVE BACK???β In a ordering tone when he come to assist us for the self check out.

β β β β β Occasionally met one staff named Hugh when I went to purchase some item in store. He is super kind and hard-working, helped me order the product I need, which is convenient and save my time. It is the excellent experience to cooperate with Warehouse!!! I will come back to Glenfield warehouse and contact Hugh once I need to order the product again!!

β β β β β One star for the indian customer server woman, with a bad attitude. I was purchasing a heater today and as all the boxes that contains this product are not sealed, i asked this staff to check it for me for damage and make sure the remote control is inside before i pay for it. She then told me to go check it myself, then when i asked her to check it for me in case i get home and find, something missing , she got another staff to do it and once i was satisfied about the product, she then banged it on the bench, making me go back to the shelf to get a new one as i refuse to buy an electrical item that's been banged around by the staff!!! I had to resort to checking the item myself, as i will not bother going back to this inappropriate woman for customer service if she is just going to get me to serve myself. Fortunately, she made herself scarce by the time i went back there, so i asked the lovely guy at the customer service to please report what happened and he assured me that he will talk to her about it. A lazy, rude, inppropriate staff must not work in retail, particularly in customer service department. I hope this does not happen again at the customer service kiosk , and i hope staff are screened and trained to have a proper attitude towards the customers. I made a reasonable request , i expect a decent service at the so called customer service kiosk, otherwise, based on the woman's attitude, the kiosk should be named self sevice then.
