β β β β β Campbell and his team took great care of us. We were having this work performed from overseas so he took extra time to do a videoconference with my wife and I to walk us through the report and answer all our questions.
He then also followed up and offered to go back to the house on a couple of items which we wanted to deep dive into which wouldn't have been typical of the property.
I felt like THIS went completely above and beyond in every element of their service and made our process of buying a house in New Zealand far less daunting than it could have been

β β β β β The worst builder's report ever. Unknowledgeable and unprofessional. In the report, they didn't pick up the rotten timber in the window frame, the report said the wire behind the meter board was upgraded - after I moved in I got an electrician to install some lights and he found out there were old wires behind the meter board that needed to be changed. The kitchen tap was loose but the report stated that it was in good condition.
As a first home buyer, I have no idea what to look for. Hence I paid for a builder's report. This report gave me a false judgement as I bought the property thinking everything was ok. When I moved in and got another builder to fix these minor issues mentioned in the report, he picked up a lot more problems which were superficial and should've been picked up in the report.
I have tried contacting them but they never got back to me.
Don't get your builder's report done here. Would not recommend unless you want a quick and lousy report.

β β β β β Aaron was very professional and produced a great building report - exactly what we wanted. Lots of genuinely useful photos and recommendations for maintenance, as well as helpful descriptions of various points around the house and what appeared to have been done in the past. A much better report than many others I have seen. It gave us a lot of confidence in the qualities of the property we were buying. Highly recommended and Aaron was very happy to discuss the findings.
