In essence, Three Sisters Brewery is a husband-and-wife team (Joe and Sarah) who first started brewing boutique craft beer in our garage in coastal Taranaki. Our meticulous approach and respect for quality ingredients produce an exciting range of craft beers that are distinctive, fresh and remarkable.
Our staple offerings, Oakura Blonde, Rain in the Face APA, and Hand & Flowers are sold at various outlets nationally. We also have some short-run, seasonal and experimental brews on hand (Lila, Brewdini, Fuzzy Panda, Sup Bro?, the Soor Plooms series and the Milkshake IPA series).
Three Sisters Brewery has been brewing commercially since April 2017 after winning the first Taranaki SOBA Homebrew Competition in 2015 with 'Rain In The Face'. In 2020, Joe and Sarah started a PledgeMe campaign and got to move their operation into the beautiful, old "Taranaki Savings Bank" building on the main street of New Plymouth.. Old TSB to the new TSB... We thought it was very fitting...
In 2021, Three Sisters Brewery received the New Zealand Brewers Guild "Champion Micro Brewery" award and the whole team hasn't been able to keep quiet about it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had just climbed Mt Taranaki and I was starving. My friend promised to find me the best vegan burger in town, and Three Sisters Brewery delivered. Thank you to the awesome server for suggesting your burger and fries, it paired beautifully with a beer. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in for lunch... top notch beer (had the Samba), food was really good - salt and pepper squid, honey soy chicken, and polenta fries were all superb. Beautiful old banking hall made for nice surrounds, and great staff. Will be back before we leave Taranaki to sample more of their beers, and to taste the gins. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really friendly brewey in town in New Plymouth. Great selection of beers that are brewed on site. Constantly changing tap menu but good options in the bottle too.
Food was very good. I had the Buffalo Chicken burger. Was definitely one of thd better burgers I have had.
I recommend giving three Sisters a try.
