★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding time at Thyme Hill. Inge walks you through the selection and is very engaging. On the drive home our only regret was that we didn't buy more. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Inge for a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasted 4 great merlot vintages, each subtly different yet exceptional in their own right, with the surprise pinot / merlot blend rose to finish off. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Inge!
Take your time to give Inge a call to book a tasting, as she runs the farm on her own. You will not be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful location, delicious wine and a generous, knowledgeable host. Perched perfectly on purple hills this boutique vineyard is unique in beauty and experience. Rustic charm and fine wine mix and mingle about the property surrounded by mountain scenery and fresh thyme aromas. Inge makes you feel welcome and is happy to share her story of the making of magnificent Merlots. A place not to miss! Thanks for having us - we can’t wait to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While holidaying in Central Otago tasted to most amazing house Merlot and had to ask to see the label. When we arrived in Alexandra looked up Thyme Hill Vineyard and called Inge. He was so gracious and set up a tasting for us. The tasting blew me away! four years of Merlot, each very different and each excellent quality. Inge is a Merlot artist. We left with a case but will certainly be back for more (or order online). The hospitality Inge showed was awesome and made us feel at home and valued. I would recommend this excursion to anyone in the Alexandra area and the Merlot to anyone anywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic smaller winery in Alexandra, who does the only Central Otago Merlot! Inge welcomed us and could not have been a better host. She talked us through the different years of Merlot she has on offer, provided cheese to accompany the wine and gave us a good background on the vineyard.
Each Merlot had something different to offer and the Rose was also delightful. I highly recommend paying a visit to Inge and her unique Otago Merlots! 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for a wine tasting last week. Inge welcomed me very friendly at her cozy place surrounded by vineyards on the hill and I enjoyed the autumn sun together with her beautifully crafted wines. She took her time for me and the tasting and told me a lot about the wines and her work.
Bought some wine and am looking forward to share it with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We struggled to find a place that was open late in the afternoon this new years weekend, but Inge opened her doors and showed us the fantastic wines she has been producing. We had such a quiet and new tasting experience, it was like sitting on a Mediterranean hillside. Left with an armful of Rose and some new Merlot favourites. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
