★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small, uninspired museum. It is free to New Zealandrrs, but the $20 per person for non-residents isn't worth it. The architecture is lovely, but you can see that from the outside. The surrounding park and plantings are well worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a lot of money on a spectacular piece of artwork a few years ago when we last visited. It has pride of place in our house here in UK. We would certainly visit again next time we are in New Zealand.
