★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had an awful experience with an employee who said 'past tense the showers are closed' at 6.22 when the showers state they close at 6.30. Blaming the fact that he has to clean the area. Please change your sign to 6.20 if this is the case. Rushed here after a long day of trekking to be treated with disgusting service. Thoroughly saddened by this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for a quick stop, we didn’t use the shower, toilets were nice and clean. However they should mention that shower closes 5.30 and only toilets open until 7.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why would I as a male pay $1 for a wee in a rural town like Te Anua??? Madness. Pooh fair enough!
Public toilets outside deliberately shut with bin in front and out of use sign. Woman inside on $21 an hour for 8 hours. Only 4 Mac an hour?? Council madness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feel odd reviewing something as basic as this, however for the level of cleanliness and great services provided, is worth every cent. If you want free then there are other sites in close proximity so the choice is yours (pay attention @cooper jacob).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable that in a tourist town you have to oay $1 to have a pee. Presumably it pays for the lady at the front desk who confirms that you do have to pay $1 for a pee. Very clean (as it should be) but 3/4 of the toilets were locked. Very unusual set up.
