★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been willing to try a good new zealand sausage roll. I had the venison sausage roll was amazing. Quite game the meat but with all the flavours blending with the spices it really makes sausage roll have a great complexity of flavours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place - my favorite pies in NZ so far! We liked them so much that we came back twice more before leaving Te Anau.
Personally, I particularly appreciated that they have not one, but two vegetarian pies! Both are delicious, but surprisingly I'd actually recommended the vegetable one over the lentil chickpea curry one. It just felt more luxuriously warm and decadent somehow. Both are great though, and you can't go wrong either way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seafood pie is a must!! If you are stopping here on your way to Milford. I definitely recommend grabbing a pie from here. Pastry was 10/10, filling was so fresh and creamy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm sad to review this place like this but mince and cheese pie didn't have cheese, it was cold and the meat was oily and didn't taste good. Was really hyped to visit but maybe wasn't the right day to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pies here are so good. We stopped here on our way to Milford and had the Thai chicken and satay chicken which were so tasty that we stopped again on the way back. Service was also very quick and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried the Venison pie and it was tasty and full of chunky meat pieces. Pastry was fluffy too. The Seafood pie tasted like you were having seafood chowder. 4 stars as my go to Mince and Cheese was only ok, ad the mince didn't have gravy taste to my liking. Try for yourself and see
