★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking! It has been 9 days now. The on line tracker is a joke! Great if people (delivery people) bother to use it. Was told they were still trying to find my parcel in Auckland. Was scanned on pick up, scanned on delivery to Auckland then no more scans! Yesterday I was told it was somewhere in Auckland, as well as being told it was with the local delivery person who was under pressure because of the large volume of freight. Surely it is not difficult to scan a parcel???? Come on guys - sort your stuff out. It is part of your job to scan and deliver - if you can not do that - then find someone else who can!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the worst courier company in New Zealand. Unhelpful staff and they never update their tracking system. If you need something in a hurry consider strapping it to the back o a snail, it will get to you faster and the snail will be more responsive to your enquiries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have sat on the phone for the first call trying to get some form of customer service for over 40mins with constant message stating a "toll representative with be with you shortly "only to have call answered and then being hung up on by the representative and then have to call back to spend another 40mins on the phone. This is absolutely poor service and I am sure for the profits I have seen Toll turning over per annum they could employ more staff to man the phones for customers. Individuals or should I say Toll's customers also have business to run and attend to customers in an acceptable time and manner and having to hold for over 80mins to get a simple question answered is not acceptable......Very poor!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We average around 10 deliveries per week. Having had a really good relationship with the staff at Palmerston North Branch, we re-located to Whangarei just before Covid struck. It was understandably chaotic then, but everything has settled down and the service we now get is outstanding, with no less than 3 of their staff actually offering to PERSONALLY pick up parcels outside of our "scheduled" pickup days should we need them urgently. That is WAY beyond anything we could have asked for. We are really happy with the service TOLL provides. Incidentally, the other big carriers were not even interested in picking up for us at all (we are rural). TOLL to the rescue!!
Deliveries are brisk and the tracking works really well for us too.

parcel was clearly labelled as correct address
letter box is clearly labelled as correct address
toll delivery put it in 23, not 23A as on parcel - its a different letter box and is locked!
drivers should ensure that parcels are placed in correct letterbox or delivered to door of correct house.
also said signed by me, when it was left in letterbox, not given to me.
at least they told me it had been delivered so I went to look!

The stress of me being late, deadlines, and the assurance of my pallet being on the truck to AKL that night turned my gratitude to confidence in a genuine customer-focused business. I see Toll's trucks every night and thank God for these people serving New Zealand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy pickup, friendly and helpful staff!. Helped me load it on my car, and took care of some unwanted rubbish without a hassle. Fast and although closing time is 4pm, no grumpy faces arriving right at 3:59pm... Thanks!
