Applicable to tyres damaged under normal driving conditions with a legal remaining tread depth (1.5mm). Excludes the following situations: (a) a motor vehicle accident between two vehicles; (b) tyre damage attributed to abuse ie. excessive driving on a flat tyre, misalignment etc.; and (c) vandalism or wilful damage. Only applies to tyres supplied and fitted by Tony’s Tyre Service. Tyre Cover Plus does not cover instances where an after-market self sealing gel has been used on the tyre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought insurance ($ thousand-ish) when I renewed my tires. When my tire went damaged beyond repair twice in a row in a short period. I only needed to pay an excess of $23 each time to replace it here at Tony's while it will cost $230 for only one tire if you not have any insurance. No payment is needed if the tires can be repaired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arun is a lier and a cheat, i suspect most of these reviews are fake and written by his friends or family because he is in damage control after the amount of negative comments in the past about his dodgy customer service and ethics. I brought 4 new tires for my son's car and Arun sold the wrong size tires to me on purpose to get rid of older stock. He asked me if I wanted the special wheel alignment deal which was a fixed price for a certain amount of wheel alignments per year, I declined and I'm %100 certain that he instructed his wheel alignment technician to do a faulty alignment on purpose. My son told me how badly his car was performing on the road so I took it to two different tyre shops and both told me it was one of the worst wheel alignments that they had seen, this is totally unacceptable as it is a health and safety issue which could have caused my son to have a crash. I didn't like Aruns attitude when I confronted him about it and he accepted no responsibility at all even when I told him what the other tyre shops had found. I know for a fact that there are alot of unhappy customers with Tony tyre Newlynn branch. Arun is a lier and a cheat,I'd never ever recommend such an incompetent shop to anyone. I've actually spoken with a past employee of his store and it was a very enlightening discussion. I'm looking forward to the day that the Newlynn branch closes for good ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On June 03 I went to New Lynn shop and they changed the brake pads and rotors for my car. I told them we were going to Rotorua for holiday. The next day we drove all the way and we nearly got to the motel there was big noise from underneath the car. We stopped and called AA. The technician checked and said the right front bolt missing to hold the brake. Not safe to drive and the tow truck towed us to the motel. All repair shops are closed due to long weekend. Our holiday is ruined. Your New Lynn shop needs to compensate all these and find out how we can go back to Auckland
