★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The friendly guys here examined my rental car free of charge when I thought it had a radiator leak. They diagnosed it to be A/C condensation but didn’t charge me for the 10 minutes they spent carefully inspecting the car and making sure it wasn’t anything serious when I know other mechanics would have.

My partner and I made a trip to Raglan from Auckland with our little dog and our car broke down. It was the start of a long weekend and the mechanics didn't have capacity to look at the car until after the weekend but the absolute legends from the towing service towed our car all the way to Hamilton and were happy to bring our doggo along for the ride.
Really top service and great conversation on the ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived in Raglan with a very hot battery. We called into Top Garage and Asher immediately diagnosed the regulator in the alternator was faulty. A new regulator and a replacement battery were ordered for overnight delivery from Auckland. Being a popular garage they were fully booked, but Asher came in at 7am to fit us in. We have now been home 2 weeks. We had a good trip home without any issues. We can’t recommend the team at Top Garage highly enough. Asher runs a slick operation- he is up front, gives outstanding customer service and is reasonably priced. A pleasure to deal with?
