An excellent selection with a must do try the port
The platter offered a fine and ample selection of nibbles to go with the wine tasting
Even on a busy day the staff were more than available and knowledgeable
Best to book on weekends as this vineyard is very busy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste of the Waipara region. Easy access from SH1 yet a world away. The owners were our hosts so a wonderful source of knowledge. We enjoyed tasting favourite varieties with a local reference & discovered a couple of new ones. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a quaint winery with great service and unique wines - this is the place for you. We came on a relatively warm day but I could imagine being rugged up here in the winter too! The 'white port' is very special and the tasting sessions are super generous. Highly recommend stopping here if you're doing your own self guided Waipara wine tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter took me to Torlesse winery for Mother's Day. We shared a platter and did a wine tasting. Couldn't fault the place. It is in a lovely setting, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The platter was very generous and we both really enjoyed it. I'm not much of a wine drinker generally but I Really loved their wines, not all of them, but most of the ones I tried were absolutely delicious. Thanks to the staff, who looked after us so well. We'll be back!
