β β β β β Staff were very unhelpful at this store and the selection is minimal... more a clearance store than an actual Torpedo7 store. Had trouble finding hiking boots, asked a female staff member who said she would check the stock but she never returned. I then asked a male staff member for help who recommended I try Kathmandu Manukau. Best advice as Kathmandu Manukau was awesome and I bought some great boots there.

β β β β β Not approachable and not helpful. Went with my little family to check out the store today for some plated weights and had tried to ask one of the staff members for some help. The staff members there gave us this look like we couldn't afford to purchase anything. We had asked a question about certain items there and one of the staff members brushed us off and was not helpful and felt like we were being judged not sure if it's because we were a brown islander family . This isn't the only store Mt wellington is the same...

β β β β β Went to Manukau branch to browse Trampoline. Lady on the counter advised they do not have anything in store. And she claimed she checked online that Albany store also have none of 10 feet one.
So I left the store. In car I checked online and it was clearly available in Albany store. Went back In store to request if I can make payment and go to Albany tomorrow to pick it up. They just denied straight up. I requested if they can call the store and request to hold untill I reach there as it was 40 minutes drive to get there. Staff just said no they can't call them as no one will pick up the phone.
They all looked like they were doing some favour on customer by standing behind the counter.
At the end when I asked how long it ll take of I order in store . There answers was , we don't know may be after mid January.
Overall experience was awful. It was first and last visit to there store. They literally was not interested in their potential customer ?

β β β β β Did not know the store was here, plenty of parking available on site as well as surprisingly good range of products. Got a really friendly greeting I walked in and it was to navigate your way around the store. Displays were great and pricing was available on the product. Fitness area was a real surprise, well stocked and the team could talk to it

β β β β β The shop is best for all the sport equipments and accessories. Specially for bike. this one is better and cheaper than Bike Barn for most of the stuff. They do have bike workshop which is very cool. And they do have all kind of bike with different range.

β β β β β I bought a bike holder yesterday. The staffs was friendly. They introduce the product and agreed to help me install it after serving other customers. While I was waiting by my car, another staff just finish loading sth for another customer came over helped me install it and showed me how to do it myself and also told me what needed to be aware of. Good job guys, very happy.

β β β β β Absolutely stoked with the staff working this morning on 5/6/22.
Came in looking for a bike helmet and one or 2 other small things as I've just recently taken up mountain biking, the man who helped me out was absolutely fantastic and even gave me a full rundown of MIPS helmets and the pros and cons of everything I asked about so I felt like I was informed and listened to properly.
The 2 other staff on the counter were very polite, friendly, easy to talk to and sparked up some great conversation that really brought my mood out of the gutter and told me about promotions and stuff that I wasn't aware of that brought my bill down from about 200 to 177 which naturally I was happy with too.
If management is reading this. Give these 3 pay rises. they're fantastic and also guaranteed you my business in the future. if I could rate more than 5/5 I would.
