About Totally Frocked Costume Hire
Karen Purnell purchased Totally Frocked Costume Hire in January 2016 from Jan Tait and Jenny Bain who joined forces to originally set up the business. Both Jan and Jenny had been working for TVNZ until they relocated to Auckland which triggered this venture.
They purchased the Wardrobe assets from Avalon Studios and established Totally Frocked Ltd.

We have over 10,000 costumes and is still growing, we are constantly adding to our collection with a wide range of sizes from children through to adults.
Our customers say it’s definitely worth the trip out here for the friendly service and the wonderful costumes.

β β β β β Staff were super helpful and friendly, despite being packed for Halloween weekend. We described what we were looking for and the kind of vibe for the costumes and they were able to find exactly what we wanted with great efficiency! Highly recommended, super nice to deal with.

The prices are affordable and done on a piece by piece situation rather than a flat fee which is also really nice. I had a brilliant night and felt very much like Ada Shelby, thank you for all your help!!
