We opened The Source Taupo as a way to improve not only our own healthy eating, but also our ecological footprint. And we want to give more people a chance to do the same. At The Source, we try to keep it simple with a ‘get back to basics’ theme throughout the store and throughout what we do. We also know that to be part of the community of Taupo, we need to give back as much as we have been given, so we support as many community and environmental initiatives as we can.

I was honoured to be asked to be part of the Towncentre Taupo Board. I am such a rookie at business ownership and thought it would be a great opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals.  They think about things in a way that ensures the health of the business and takes advantage of opportunities. And in the case of the TCT board, how to think about things in a way that ensures the health of the town centre for generations to come. We have a great CBD, but it’s important to keep adapting to changing times and I’d love to be part of our continued improvement.
